Tea (again) with the Mad Platter

My kitchen is long, rectangular space with a bay window/eating alcove at the end.  Above the alcove there’s a soffit where previously I had a metal tray hanging.  I posted about it a few weeks ago in my “Tea with the Mad Platter”.

I’ve been collecting cream-colored platters to fill the space.  I didn’t want it to look too chaotic with tons of colored and patterned plates.  This is a very subtle look and isn’t for everybody but I think I’ll always be on the lookout for cream platters.  Many of the ones I chose were Ironstone and I just love me some Ironstone.

Pay no attention to that little devil dog.

I know I still need to get new window treatments, lighting and round butcher block island here and then I’ll be done…I swear I’ll be done…with this space…I think…
